Got married (again). Tim (F2) was my wedding photographer! Nice to be back.

Pretty much the same, just older. Still based in Coventry. Had a kid (who's now into games). Still gaming most days but nowhere near as much, and also mostly single player stuff.
I do a Rugby League podcast and social media stuff as a hobby. Have got much fitter.

Well, let's see. Moved in with my brother who was at a loss after seperation and divorce - though I think that may have happened before the last forum disappeared. Anyway, we still live together, and I get to see loads of my nephew. Or at least, I used to, now I just hear him crying/whining/banging things when he finishes 1 kill away from a Victory Royale in Fortnite.
Been playing loads of PS4. Bought an Xbox One S, regretted it because it was shit. Regretted selling that because I wanted to replay the Mass Effect trilogy. So of course I bought a One X, and regretted buying that because it's also shit. The XBox One range of consoles are pure dogshit! Last year I built myself a top-end PC and so have no need of an Xbox this coming generation.
I have a PS5 bought and paid for with Argos, though truth be told Cyberpunk 2077 is out the very same day and I am more excited about that.

Well for me, after BXB v1 I got married and left my hometown of Bristol. Now live in the sunny climbs of Aberdeen!

Re: What did you get up to?
I asked the question so it’s only fair that I answer.
My sister swapped houses with me due to my nephew having difficulty with the kids in the neighbourhood and she couldn’t get a house another way faster. This lead to me having broadband that’s 17mb down and 1mb up, making it pathetic for running a website like the old BXB back in the day. That was a big contributing factor to me giving it up as well as not trying at any other site. I’m still stuck in this house so that’s not great.
Moved in with my partner about 2 years ago and that’s going mostly great. We are both on the same page where we don’t care about marriage and don’t want kids so there’s very little in regards to responsibility which is nice. If you remember, I had issues with hallucinations back in the day but that has mostly stopped now. My mental health, albeit not “cured” is definitely better than what I was as a teenager/early 20s. My sister had 2 kids so I’m an uncle to a nephew and niece which is weird as it feels “adult” as my nephew has started high school.
My Mum remarried and moved away to Argyll so she’d no longer be able to interrupt the podcast if we were still doing them today. My biological Dad who was out of the picture for a bit over a decade reappeared but it didn’t go anywhere. Then at the start of the year he had a heart attack but managed to recover. Right after that, COVID started so I never got to see him after that.
Now, Angela and I are locked down in our house since March because Angela considers herself high risk. You’d think being stuck in the house together 24/7 for 7 months would make things difficult but we’ve actually never had a fight or argument during the whole thing. The only thing we get mad at is watching/reading about people who actively flaunt how they’re not following the rules as it’s only keeping us locked in for longer.
