Has anyone watched the new US version of Utopia?

More importantly has anyone seen the original British version (also on Amazon)?

It such an interesting case of how different culturally we are. The British original is easily one of the most unique brilliant piece of TV ever. The US version feel very much like decent generic US Sci-fi.

Not watched the new one yet, but have seen the U.K. original. The only thing about it I didn’t like during the recent rewatching I did, was the fact that it kind of legitimises a conspiracy QAnon worldview, which is sort of the last thing the real world needs right now

Yep, it does play a bit differently given the current situation (in fact I'm surprised Amazon released the US version right now). We're just halfway through the second season of the UK one but it does make it seem even more relevant. saying it's 8+ years old it does feel like it.
